Junior Database Administrator position is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to gain greater experience in MS SQL administrator. You will work in close collaboration with the other Database Administrator to manage all aspects of the company’s database. This includes general administration duties, taking care of internal applications, troubleshooting and other duties. Key for success in this role is to approach with an analytical mind-set, be well organised and willing to learn.
The Junior Database Administrator role suits someone who has some experience in MS SQL Administration, SQL Scripting (T-SQL), reporting and an eagerness to build on those skills. You will:
- Report to the IT Manager
- Assist in the administration of the SQL Server Databases and business applications
- Provide support at DB level and monitor and fine-tune the database
- Maintain security measures, data integrity and backups
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, particularly the Senior Database Administrator
Experience:
- MS SQL administration
- SQL Scripting with T-SQL
- Reporting experience
Salary / Remuneration:
EUR 20,000 – 22,000
