It owns, develops and manages mobile core networks and a range of voice, data and content solutions. The growth in our international subscriber base has created vacancies in our Malta office in the operations speciality below. As a NOC engineer you will interact frequently with customer support, specialist’s teams and 3rd party providers, therefore it is important that you are clear and concise in your communication. Working closely with diverse teams you will need to develop a good all-round understanding of systems, services and networks as well as the telecoms industry. Diligence and attention to detail are also key skills along with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately. The candidates chosen will join a dynamic and professional international team already established in Malta.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial diagnosis, troubleshooting and escalation according to routines and processes
- Follow up on pending incidents
- Dispatcher and Escalation of tickets to the right support group
- Proactive monitoring
- Single-Point-of-Contact for all communication in relation to production issues
- Other project related tasks that will be assigned by specialists
Role technical attributes
- Recognized IT Technical Qualification or combination of education and telecoms experience
- Unix/Windows commissioning, admin & monitoring experience
- Basic technical knowledge of mobile network operation
