Applications Support Personnel (Ref: ISDASP-03-2018)

MALTCO LOTTERIES Limited is looking to recruit an Application support Personnel on a Full-time or Part-Time basis.  The selected candidate will be working in the Core Systems Support Team of the Information Systems Department. 

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should:

1. Have undertaken technical computer-related courses / certifications (work experience is not a requisite);
2. Be interested in any of the following:
   1. the administration / monitoring and/or operation of IT Systems and/or Platforms
   2. Development of Applications (including web/mobile applications & web services);
   3. Databases and SQL
   4. Graphics design & Web development;
   5. Multimedia Systems Operation;
3. Be seeking to embark on a career in the ICT field;
4. Be very willing to learn and adapt;
5. Be able to work in teams on a shift basis in a flexible hours scenario.

The selected candidate will be working in a mission critical operational environment with the opportunity to learn and excel in several areas of specialisation.  On-the-job training will be provided while the chosen candidate(s) will have the opportunity to develop new technical and soft skills.
