Role: IT Support Executive
Reports to: Head of IT
Summary
Responsible for answering IT requests via the IT ticketing system and offering support to our Head of IT, including server infrastructure and network environments.
Responsibilities:
· Acts as a first line of support for company’s employees
· Document technical issues and solutions for future requirements
· Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware / equipment
· Supporting and maintaining the company’s desktops, printers, copiers, telephones and security systems
· Tablet System – MDM
Requirements:
· Good communications skills, problem-solving
· Knowledgeable on WAN/LAN configuration, security and monitoring tools
· Knowledge of common telecommunication solutions, and CCTV
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft IT operating systems and Office applications
· Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude
· Organisational and time management skills
· Be able to work well in a team, as well as individually, with limited supervision
· Be proactive, take initiative, work well under pressure and demonstrate attention to detail
We are looking for enthusiastic students who are either mid-way or in their final year of studies of IT related degrees in either of the following fields:
· Studying computer systems and networks (Level 4)
· Computer Technician Course
· Unit 2 – Advanced Network Technologies
· MCast Award in Network Design & Infrastructure
