Currently we are looking for several Database Administrators (M/F) for our team in Malta starting the earliest possible entry date.

New colleagues (M/F) need to undergo a 2 to 3 month training at our head office in Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1st and 2nd level support for MS SQL and Oracle databases
  • Monitor the availability and performance of the database
  • Maintain knowledge of different database areas and database management systems and provide detailed advice regarding their application
  • Create and maintain documentation for database activities performed by the team
  • Providing 24/7 support

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed IT training or other recognised certifications
  • Proficient in Windows 2008, 2012 and 2014
  • Proficient in database management skills 
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of German is considered as an asset
