On the 15th of December all Level 3 IICT students attended an information talk in preparation for the two week Work Exposure.
The level 3 Diploma in ICT students cover the basics of computer networks, computer systems, web development, database development, computer graphics and programming. More information can be obtained from: http://mcast.edu.mt/course/961
This experience will help the students to gain a better idea of what entails working in the ICT environment and also to choose the stream for the next academic year.
The exposure will start on the 8th of January 2018 and finish by the 20th of April 2018.
Every student within the level 3 will be offered this opportunity to a total of 130 students which are split between seven classes made up of 20 students each.
Each student will be given a log book to be filled and kept by him/her so to describe his/ her day within the workplace and countersigned by a designated person in the assigned company.
The work exposure is unpaid, and based on a five working day from 9:00 till 2:00 for the period of two weeks.
