Function
The Junior Testing Analyst will be reporting to the IT Manager and will be working with the software development teams. Duties will include but are not limited to: assisting with the preparation of test plans; testing software according to company guidelines and standards; providing feedback to the development team; ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements; understanding the business and technical requirements of financial and investment applications; preparing test plans and test scripts to test each component and demonstrate the business condition under test and expected results whilst also understanding and evaluating database queries on the SQL Server.
Requirements
This position calls for a dedicated and focused individual who will have a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work. A sound background of ASP.NET, web programming and SQL is required whilst knowledge of HTML, XML and JavaScript is necessary for this position.
