The Malta Robotics Olympiad is the largest technology event in Malta organised by the Ministry for Education and Employment in Partnership with GO at the MFCC Ta'Qali.

This year, for the first time ever the MRO will be taking place on two days. With hands-on workshops for all ages, over 50 confirmed exhibitors and 6 major events under one roof the MRO is a free, fun family event. The MCAST IICT team made up of the institute director Conrad Vassallo, two students Clive and Peter Paul and three lecturers David Debono, Thomas Gatt , and Roderick Vella won the Malta Robotics Olympiad – Big Challenge.
