In line with MCAST’s strategy, the Institute of ICT works very closely with industry to provide hands-on training to students in order to equip them with the necessary skills for todays’ and future economic demands.     For the past four years the ICT Institute, has also contributed to society by working for NGOs and other organisations through the creation of bespoke software applications, websites and system support.  These projects give students opportunities to put into practice what they have learned while providing tools and mechanisms to the organisations to ameliorate their work practices and services provided.

Today MCAST ICT student Kevin Borg presented a website that he created and designed for Qrendi Local Council. The site can be accessed from: http://qrendilocalcouncil.org.mt/en/home

Mr David Schembri (Qrendi Mayor), thanked MCAST for their contribution and support throughout this project.
