About Department
Technology is at the core of the knowledge-based organisation. It enables MFSA’s strategic and operational objectives to be achieved efficiently and effectively.
The Technology team is made up of professionals specialised in relevant areas that include governance and planning, information systems, software development, information security, technology operations, and service management. Officials from Technology also participate and give their contribution in several European committees, expert groups, and industry fora.
About the Role
You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary passionate team, and shall be involved in the following areas: –
- Service and help desk support including incident management.
- Assist in systems management with involvement into monitoring and testing.
- Market research of technology systems, reporting and presentation.
- Assist with risk assessments, usage of tools to investigate incidents or issues, assess and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Other duties according to exigencies as may be required.
About You
You are a dynamic team player who is energetic and motivated to contribute with creative solutions.
You will have a passion in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related areas, and currently in the stage of obtaining a qualification in the relevant field at National Qualification Framework Level 5 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.
