In connection with the MCST Space Research Fund STREAM project, MST AudioVisual Ltd is seeking to recruit part-time qualified staff to work remotely on the development of services dedicated to deliver on-demand satellite-derived data, covering the Maltese Islands and its vicinity, to users that require such data for information and to sustain and improve their own operations and endeavours. The STREAM system will comprise a digital platform designed to deliver satellite data sources to users through a web-based interface and a smartphone application, and channeling data easily and customised to user needs.
Three categories of complementary jobs are envisaged, and applicants may qualify to take one or more of these jobs. The chosen applicant(s) are expected to work under the direction of the MST project responsible as well as interact as a team with the other project partners. The applicants need to fit closely to the job descriptions outlined in this call, but applicants that are ready to learn quickly and research their way into new aspects of work will be also considered. The STREAM project has a high level of innovation and technology application, and therefore offers to chosen applicant(s) the opportuniy to enhance their skills by working in a prolific team composed of local and foreign partners.
The project is an intensive endeavour with delivery by July 2024. The selected applicant(s) will be assigned an agreed number of hours per week that can vary during the project execution to fit the timeline of the project activities. On average the applicant(s) is expected to dedicate 20 – 30 hours on each job every month. Remuneration is expected to be 25 Euros per hour.
The applicant may also be required to work on other projects undertaken by MST AudioVisual Ltd, and/or perform any other project related task as instructed by the project coordinator and key experts.

Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by a selection board. Shortlisting will be made according to qualifications, experience and skills described by the applicant. While applications by foreigners are accepted, the selection of applicants will take into consideration the local rules for recruitment, with preference to applicants resident in Malta with a work permit.
