Role Description:

The Sales Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining a comprehensive client prospect portfolio within an assigned region, with the scope to achieve business revenue and market share growth strategies. The Sales Specialist acts as the Profit and Loss revenue owner for the designated region and is responsible for achieving set KPIs.


Role Location: Malta


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the Acquisitions growth strategy within the assigned region.
  • Having an in-depth understanding of the NetRefer product and service offering (USPs) to enable the necessary consultative approach within the Acquisitions process.
  • Taking full ownership of the Acquisitions process from lead generation, qualification, negotiation, contractual, onboarding and handover.
  • Ensure all contractual and procedural documents related to the Acquisitions process are maintained and uploaded in the CRM, Confluence and Jira.
  • Ad hoc reporting as required by Global Sales Manager.
  • Helping out with any training, as required, for both team members and other employees.
  • Travelling on business, attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Acting as the Regional Specialist to the business.
  • Proactively following market / region / industry trends.


Key Requirements:

  • Self-starter and driven to achieve ambitious growth targets through a can-do attitude.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective and clear communication and presentational skills, with a strong team player approach.
  • Previous experience in the iGaming industry would be considered an asset but not a requirement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Atlassian software, and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Must be able to provide professional and character references upon request.
  • Experience in Performance Marketing, Affiliation Marketing, or Digital Marketing is considered an asset.


Technical Skills:

  • Can scope prospect requirements, analyze data, identify blockers, and transform trends into actionable information.
  • Can identify risk and proactively contribute to risk mitigation processes.
  • Can identify strategic opportunities.
  • Have a good understanding of project management principles.

  • Acquisitions funnel management (Lead Portfolio Growth (number of leads)/Lead Portfolio diversification (markets/segments).
