Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and deliver tested software
- Advocate unit testing and TDD
- Ability to research, prototype and adopt new technologies including cloud services
- Work in an Agile environment
- Identify the causes of reported issues and develop fixes
- Implement both backend and front-end features
- Coordinate with UX/UI designers, developers and test engineers in an Agile environment
- Perform impact assessment of features and defects with Product Owner
- Share and promote your ideas towards the improvement of the products and the business
- Abide by industry and company software development standards
- Plan and perform jobs autonomously
- Provide your input in project planning and implementation
- Interact with upper management to understand business and client requirements
- Review existing code and produce improvements
- Present ideas and your work to team members and colleagues
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years professional experience as a full stack developer
- Experience with GIT and GitFlows
- Relevant qualifications – preferably in computer science or mathematics
- Experience in NodeJs, Angular
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with REST APIs
- Knowledge of the web building blocks (HTML5/CSS3/Javascript)
- Fluent in English

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, document and deliver tested software
- Automate internal processes using existing tools and custom code / scripts
- Contribute creatively to the company’s product portfolio development
- Identify the causes of reported issues and develop fixes
- Identify, design & implement Automation tools
- Interact with non-technical colleagues to understand the business requirement
- Applying scheduled release upgrades
- Understand existing key processes and recommend improvements
- Recognise critical issues and respond to client queries in a timely manner
- Share and promote your ideas towards the improvement of the products and the business
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computing or related subjects
- 2 years' experience in web development within an Agile framework
- Excellent problem and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Customer oriented approach
Desirable Skills:
- Good knowledge on C#, LinQ, MVC, JQUERY
- Writing and debugging SQL procedures

Software Tester
Position Overview:
As a Software Tester, you will be part of NetRefer’s QA Team whose role is to ensure that the QoS (Quality of Service) levels of NetRefer’s platform are constantly maintained. This is achieved by making sure that all aspects of the software are properly tested and that the QA process in NetRefer’s product development lifecycle is followed and that all necessary tests are executed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Designing, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases.
- Investigating and replicating reported defects.
- Performing various kinds of testing: performance testing, functional testing, unit testing, user interface testing, integration testing, security testing, compatibility testing, regression testing etc.
- Reviewing product requirements and functional specifications documents to do an impact analysis, estimate QA effort, plan the required test plans.
- Maintaining the defect log under control at all times
- Assisting in the implementation of QA standards and continual QA improvement activities
- Identifying and proposing tests to be made part of the test automation framework
- Reporting back to the line Manager
Required Skills:
- Sharp analytical skills in searching, identifying and documenting bugs
- Strong attention to detail
- A background of .NET. Ability to understand .NET code. Coding skills are not required
- Knowledge of SQL scripting – to be able to do database level testing
- A good understanding of agile software development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills – with ability to communicate at a technical level with developers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and committed to reach QA deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership
Considered a Plus:
- Knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining test plans and scripts for web-based software
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Knowledge of QA automation techniques and with testing tools such as QTP, Selenium and Mercury
- Knowledge of multi-browser testing
- Knowledge on web security
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio Online test case management
