Recruitment Advert – User Support Assistant

Azure is looking to recruit a User Support Assistant to join our team on a part basis.

This is an essential role in the IT department that will give focus on giving primary ICT support to the whole company. This will be done by carrying out the below duties:

  1. Logging, grouping and classifying support requests..

  2. Initial diagnosis of the users’ day to day problems.

  3. Delivering basic front line solutions (general users support).

  4. Data quality control user procedures, exception reporting and testing; data validation rules.

  5. Process quality assurance, assisting in identifying gaps, and supporting users in closing such gaps.

  6. Basic business performance indicators, the need for organisation structure, responsibilities of departments with respect to equipment, software and data.

  7. Preventive scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment and data.

  8. One to one user training, assisting users in carrying out their responsibilities vis a vis ICT.

  9. Assisting top management by giving feedback on training needs analysis and process improvement.

The selected candidate will be a hard working, smart individual who is highly fluent in English, possess good communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
