Function
The Junior IT Administrator will be reporting to Head of IT Infrastructure & Support. Duties will include but are not limited to: installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting Microsoft products and services; installing MS Windows Server 2008/2012, configuring and system administering; image managing MS Windows 7 and 8.1; handling Enterprise workstations and server patch managing and reporting; monitoring Enterprise service and server and remediating of disruptions, degradations and outages; managing software; deploying operations; managing server and workstation images; working with remedy incidents related to server issues; troubleshooting issues related to server performance; collaborating document and share processes and information to improve the team toward providing outstanding customer support.
Requirements
This position calls for a meticulous, responsible and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. Applicants with experience in using VMWare/Hyper‐V/ PowerShell will be preferred. Candidates must have an MCAST-BTEC diploma in IT or equivalent.
