Job Purpose
To maintain, operate and create new tariffs and promotions on the Post Paid Billing Platform, and be responsible to perform a billing run and generate invoices and to help in rating issues with internal users.
Key Accountabilities / Key Activities:
- Development, technical advice and implementation of tariffs and promotions in a timely manner as required by the Company.
- Adequately test, local and roaming tariffs in various different business scenarios
- Plan, Execute and Monitor Billing Run processes
- Manage post processing of Billing Run with third parties as necessary
- Implement changes in Invoice templates as necessary
- Liasing with Data Clearing House for day to day operations with regards to roaming charging administration.
- Propose new better ways of working for improving the system/existing processes as required
- Log all applicable changes and produces high quality reporting, including analysis of problems as may be required
- End user support through helpdesks
- Manage communication with supplier for any escalation of issues required
- Help to identify and evaluate upgrades and new products, systems and solutions as necessary from time to time within the area of responsibility
- Handling of simultaneous technical projects and project management as may be required
- Participating or providing support to internal or external cross-functional teams
- Liaise with Customer touch points on quality issues
- Help and behave adequately as a Team player in the Section
Technical / Professional Expertise
- I.T. related diploma or equivalent
- Preferably with experience in Telecommunication Billing Systems and UNIX/SQL knowledge will be an asset
- Ability to plan work accurately whilst maintaining a certain degree of flexibility in order to deliver on Market requirements
- Ability to manage internal & external conflict
- Ability to deliver in dynamic environment
