Function
The Web Developer will be reporting to the IT Manager and will be forming part of the back-office team. Duties will include but are not limited to: developing and maintaining web applications using the latest tools and technologies; utilising programming skills using .NET framework 4.0/4.5, Visual Studio 2010/2012, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#.NET and VB.NET as well as utilising database programming skills using SQL and T-SQL.
Requirements
This position calls for a progressive, dynamic and motivated individual who is willing to learn new tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and must adhere to deadlines. Applicants should have the ability to adapt to business requirements. The chosen candidate should be proficient in the following: jQuery and AJAX; web services and REST; WCF Development; MVC Development whilst knowledge in LINQ will be considered an asset. A Higher National Diploma or a University Degree together with Microsoft Certifications is required for this position.
