This stylish luxury hotel, Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay, is seeking to recruit an ambitious, determined and highly motivated individual who is willing to embark on a career in hospitality.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the selected individual will ensure that all IT support duties of the two properties, for both customers and employees, are carried out smoothly and efficiently.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing first line user support for all IT issues
  • Administering and supporting the Active Directory, e-mail system, mobile devices, voice & data network
  • Supporting LANs, WANs, internet and intranet systems
  • Supporting Room WiFi and Hotel TVs
  • Maintaining and keeping up-to-date the software & hardware inventory
  • Administering servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
  • Supporting Point of Sales
  • Adhering to the latest group IT Policy
  • Adopting a friendly and flexible approach towards user’s requests

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a recognised IT qualification (diploma or equivalent)
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Have excellent Microsoft Windows and Office skills
  • Have Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Be able to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Be Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently and with a friendly manner
  • Possess excellent fault-finding skills, an ability to react to problematic situations in a focused manner and solving problems at source
  • Be bright, enthusiastic and will have a passion for learning and understanding new technologies
  • Possess strong documentation skills
  • Ideally have previous experience in a similar role
