Function
The Software Engineer will be reporting to the Team Leader and the Director of the company. Amongst other duties the selected candidate will be in charge of, he/she will be developing applications using .NET Platform and version control.
Requirements
This position calls for a smart, meticulous and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work within a team or on specific projects as a singular development. Extensive knowledge of .NET (c#, visual basic, asp, wpf, winforms), WCF and standing web services is essential for this role. Applicants must be confident in using the following: LINQToSQL (DBML) and entity framework; an MSSQL Backend DB.; all iterations of MSSQL (2003 to 2012); stored procedures together with triggers and crystal reporting. Candidates who have been previously exposed and possess knowledge in mobile development (windows, ipad etc.) will be preferred. A University degree or an equivalent certificate in IT combined with an understanding of basic accounting principles is required for this position. Moreover, candidates should have their own transport and must possess a clean and valid driving license.
