Summary: |

We are looking for project manager to support the deployment of global IT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for a healthcare company. Responsible for the quality and delivery of systems and/or service commitments on schedule, using assigned internal/external resources and following standards. Accountable for project goals, budget requirements and overall support activities needed to ensure a successful project implementation. Assist clients in identifying, understanding and responding to opportunities for cost-effective innovation and adherence to corporate policy. Manages activities of all internal/external resources on projects or service deliverables. Will be accountable for one or more business systems / technologies. Candidate should be able to effectively persuade cross functional team members, understand underlying dependencies, management objective, track tasks. Position require effective inter personal communication capability in a diverse and global team. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: |
This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned. Accountable for medium/large projects which support engineers globally, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate business acumen, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle complex problems, possess strong knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, have strong communication and interpersonal skills. 1) Manage/lead entire project or service including technical solution, implementation, support and quality. Understand and direct/participate in all phases of project implementation on large projects. 2) Prioritize work and schedules. 3) Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to standards/ regulatory requirements. 4) Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate IT solutions based on business and technical knowledge. Manage (educate and influence) the business project sponsor. 5) Participate in the budget process and accountable for project budget on small/medium size projects. 6) Provide direct supervision and mentoring of project team member’s during the project. Provide project performance feedback to the team member’s supervisor/manager. 7) Participate in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies and/or services. |
Qualifications: |

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required, including 5+ years in a technical environment. Ability to work in a global setting with team members located in multiple sites. Strong knowledge of project development/implementation processes. Business acumen. Solid presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills. Strong influencing skills. Proven track record on delivering projects. Prudent risk taker. Leadership experience. Strong experience implementing projects using various project methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and Iterative methodologies. Project Management Certification a plus. Experience with COTs (commercial off the shelf) applications, Oracle. Good communications skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and good time management.
